Case Study: McDonald's Brazil achieves faster drive‑thru service and shorter queues with Zebra's ET50 Corporate Tablet

A Zebra Case Study

Preview of the McDonald's Case Study

The use of the Tablet in the drive-thru decreases queues and speeds attention in McDonald's restaurants

McDonald’s Brazil aimed to speed up and streamline its drive-thru service to reduce customer wait times, increase throughput and strengthen brand loyalty. The existing process forced customers through sequential windows for ordering, payment and pickup, creating delays that the chain—where speed is measured in seconds—needed to eliminate.

Working with DigitalWork, McDonald’s deployed Zebra’s corporate ET50 tablet and accessories to enable attendants to take orders and process payments directly at customers’ cars. The solution cut drive-thru queues and service time, increased productivity and turnover, and offered a robust, modular system that can be adapted with accessories to meet varying operational needs.
