A Zebra Case Study
Rashideen Egypt for Trade, a Cairo-based FMCG distributor founded in 2000 that serves major brands like Mondelēz, Bel, Reckitt and Shell, needed to support its roughly 1,000 mobile sales and delivery staff operating in hot, dusty, congested conditions. The company’s prior consumer devices proved unreliable, and Rashideen sought to improve productivity, cost efficiency and field performance while enabling route optimization and better visibility into sales and account profitability.
Rashideen deployed Zebra enterprise-class mobile computers (TC15/TC25/TC56), rugged tablets (ET56), mobile printers (ZQ510/ZQ320) and supporting MDM and connectivity, enabling route planning, proof-of-visit, in-store planogram access and real-time KPI tracking. The rugged devices delivered reliable field performance, optimized daily routes (reducing fuel use and emissions), improved sales planning and visibility, and helped boost sales and distribution performance by 21% with stronger TCO and ROI.
