QE Facilities manages logistics for nine hospitals and 2,000 GP locations, handling blood sample transport and medical records. Its existing tracking system was unreliable and unscalable, creating inefficiencies, compliance risks, and inaccurate sample tracking. QE Facilities worked with Zebra and partner Dakota to address the challenge using Zebra TC51-HC mobile computers.

Zebra and Dakota implemented the custom eTrakLogic tracking system on Zebra’s TC51 devices, giving staff a rugged solution with built-in scanning and real-time access to data on the move. The result was fewer bag-scanning mistakes, improved tracking accuracy and operational efficiency, and stronger customer relationships, while also supporting scalability across different NHS contract requirements.
