Primark Elevates In-Store Efficiency and Customer Experience with Zebra ET40 Tablets

Primark, the Dublin-based value fashion retailer founded in 1969 with roughly 80,000 employees and over 450 stores worldwide, needed a future-fit in-store device to support its growth and improve customer service. Its previous tablets had become obsolete—slow processing, limited functionality and poor availability forced colleagues back to desktops or manual workarounds, reducing time on the sales floor and slowing inventory and customer queries.

Primark replaced its legacy devices with Zebra ET40 tablets and Zebra OneCare™ Select Advance Device Replacement + Fastrack, deploying 3,000 devices between November 2023 and January 2024. Colleagues can now complete inventory checks, orders and incident reporting anywhere on the sales floor, cutting back-and-forth trips, improving stock availability and order accuracy, boosting productivity and enhancing the overall customer experience while ensuring high device uptime through hot-swap replacements.
