FITT, an Italian leader in thermoplastic fluid‑transfer solutions and the European market leader in flexible garden hoses, needed to modernize mobile hardware at its Fara Vicentino plant as it migrated to SAP Warehouse Management. Its aging devices had small screens, limited wireless connectivity and weak scanning range, so FITT sought easy‑to‑use, remotely manageable Android devices with larger displays, long‑range scanning and robust Wi‑Fi for production lines and large outdoor storage areas.

FITT deployed Zebra CC6000 concierges on production lines and Zebra MC9300 ultra‑rugged touch computers across the warehouse, integrated via in‑house web apps with SAP, and centralized device management with SOTI MobiControl plus Zebra OneCare support. The rollout delivered better product traceability, process visibility and stock‑control efficiency, faster fulfilment, improved user satisfaction and a standardized, remotely manageable blueprint for other sites.
