Klosterbrauerei Andechs Modernises its Supply Chain with Zebra’s Handheld Mobile Computers

Klosterbrauerei Andechs, the historic Bavarian monastery brewery, needed a way to ensure complete supply chain traceability while speeding up warehouse and delivery processes. Working with Zebra, the brewery adopted the Zebra TC58 mobile computer with built-in scanning and mobile data connectivity to help manage goods across its complex distribution network.

Zebra implemented scan-based warehouse management that records kegs, crates, and stored goods using GTIN and batch numbers, replacing manual Excel-based tracking. The result was faster delivery analysis, stronger quality assurance, and near-100% correct loading, with the brewery able to complete full batch and customer traceability checks in just a few minutes.
