Nuffield developed web, desktop and mobile apps plus an Android OS security layer (ASP) built on Zebra Mobility DNA (Mx) and deployed Zebra TC72 devices with LifeGuard and Zebra OneCare support to enable device hardening, offline operation and guaranteed security updates. The solution delivered an 83% reduction in daily equipment check time, a 93% reduction in pallet receipt time, battery life of up to eight weeks in the field, intuitive use with minimal training, and a 42.5–60.5% lower annual total cost of ownership versus consumer devices.
