Iceland Increases Colleague Satisfaction and Improves Operational Efficiency with Zebra’s Mobile Computing Solutions

Iceland, the UK supermarket chain focused on frozen food, needed to modernize its technology stack to better support store colleagues, managers, and drivers across more than 980 stores and its online operation. To improve efficiency and keep pace with growing orders and operations, Iceland turned to Zebra’s mobile computing solutions, including the Zebra TC58 mobile computer.

Zebra implemented a standardized device strategy using TC58 mobile computers, Zebra VisibilityIQ Foresight, and Zebra device tracking, with support from Peak Technologies and Barron McCann. Iceland created tailored profiles for different roles while keeping a common platform, which increased flexibility, simplified workloads, and improved colleague satisfaction; the company also said it could do more on the same devices and respond faster to operational challenges, especially during peak periods.
