Global Transport Company Deploys Zebra Android Touch Computers In Its Warehouses For More Efficient Goods Tracking

Oegema Transport, a family-owned international logistics company based in the Netherlands, operates a busy warehouse and cross-docking facility handling pallets, oversized loads and long goods. Facing growth and inefficiencies from a paper-based system, Oegema sought an intuitive, scalable Android WMS and rugged mobile devices, and engaged Indicium to deliver a turnkey migration and modern graphical interface.

Indicium deployed WICS WMS and the OrdinO cross-docking app on Zebra TC8300, TC75X and TC77 touch computers, using Zebra All Touch TE to convert legacy screens, SOTI MobiControl for remote device management and Zebra OneCare for support. The rollout delivered faster, more accurate picking and dispatch, significant operational efficiencies and cost reductions, higher staff productivity and satisfaction, strong user adoption and improved customer service with maximum system uptime.
