A Zebra Case Study
Fanatics, the global digital sports platform for licensed sports merchandise, wanted to speed up checkout and improve inventory management. To support its long-range plan for a best-in-class fan experience, Fanatics turned to Zebra and RFID technology to reduce inventory count times, shrink discrepancies, and ease pressure at the point of sale.
With Zebra’s RFID solutions, Fanatics cut inventory counts from 6–8 hours to about one hour and made them frequent enough to better control shrinkage. Zebra also helped streamline checkout so fewer associates were needed at registers, reducing wait times and allowing more staff to focus on helping customers on the sales floor.
