Dimar Boosts Logistics Efficiency with Zebra Mobile Computers

Dimar Group, founded in 1975 and operating more than 100 retail outlets across Piedmont and Liguria, needed to modernize logistics and ensure centimetre‑level accuracy in package dimensions across its supply chain and stores to support e‑commerce, stock placement and customer service. Manual measurement and data entry risked errors and slowed handling, so Dimar sought an automated, standardised solution to improve forecasting, warehouse storage and point‑of‑sale operations.

Working with partner Lexter Italia, Dimar deployed Zebra mobile computers (TC53 with integrated time‑of‑flight mobile dimensioning plus TC52/TC21/TC22 models) and SDK integrations to automate measurements, sync real‑time logistics data and centralise device management. The rollout eliminated manual entry, improved forecasting and stock management, cut measurement time by 50%, reduced application testing from about a month to a week, and simplified updates across thousands of devices.
