A Zebra Case Study
Boggi Milano, a premium Italian menswear brand with 235 stores in 61 countries, set out to strengthen its award-winning omnichannel experience but was hampered by manual, infrequent inventory checks, complex return and courier flows, and immature RFID technology. To support AI-driven restocking and reliably meet customer expectations, the company needed an RFID solution that could deliver around 99% inventory accuracy across its stores.
Working with Zebra and partners, Boggi Milano deployed Zebra TC21/TC26 mobile computers, RFD40 sleds, ZD621R RFID printers/encoders and VisibilityIQ Foresight, rolling RFID out to 105 of 130 owned stores. The implementation delivered faster, more frequent inventory reads and centralized device monitoring, pushed inventory accuracy above 99% in mature locations, improved order and stock management, streamlined inbound processing, enhanced the customer experience, and paved the way for future initiatives like blockchain-enabled traceability and a new RFID-equipped logistics centre.
