Case Study: ENGIE achieves flexible dynamic working with Zapfloor

A Zapfloor Case Study

Preview of the ENGIE Case Study

How ENGIE achieved flexible dynamic working

ENGIE, the French multinational energy company, needed a central workspace management solution after the pandemic to support flexible and dynamic working while keeping employees safe. The company wanted to manage office occupancy, allow booking of workstations, meeting rooms and parking spaces, assign access rights by team or individual, and extend the same experience across its main office and satellite locations. Zapfloor’s cloud-based scheduling solution was used to address these requirements.

Zapfloor implemented a whitelabel mobile app, interactive floor plans, and automated access control integrated with ENGIE’s existing systems, including door access, WiFi security, Okta, and Outlook Calendar. The rollout began in June 2020 and expanded to 30 office sites across multiple regions, with over 13,000 employees using the platform daily. The result was a highly automated workspace experience, booking time reduced to under a minute, improved safety and occupancy control, and custom dashboards for office usage and analytics.
