Citta Design, a New Zealand furniture and design company, was migrating from Dynamics AX 2012 R2 to Dynamics AX 7 in Azure while trying to keep historical reporting, maintain a single source of truth, and avoid managing two separate ERP environments. The company also needed a centralized, governed data hub to support retail growth and self-service BI.

Zapbi implemented ZAP Data Hub to connect both AX systems, archive and merge fact tables, and provide governed data outputs for reporting and Microsoft Power BI. With Zapbi’s help, Citta Design completed the initial integration in less than two weeks, reduced data migration and rollout costs, eliminated the need to maintain dual AX instances, and created a scalable foundation for future data sources and governed analytics.
