Lesedi Drilling and Mining, a diamond-drilling contracting company serving South African mining houses, was relying on a paper-based process for purchase orders and invoices. With documents being scanned into Xero, the team had no clear visibility into purchase order status, no record of what had been sent or received, and limited ability to allocate spend to department or project budgets.

Zahara provided its purchase order and accounts payable automation software with a direct integration to Xero, giving Lesedi a more affordable and easier-to-implement system. The company now has traceability for who raised and approved each purchase order, can track comments and status, and has better control over spend, budgeting, and forecasting. Zahara also centralised AP documents and reporting, helping Lesedi replace its old system and record purchasing activity more accurately.
