Netrepid, a colocation and hosting provider founded in 2004, faced scalability and agility limits with its Dell EqualLogic CapEx storage—capacity expansion was slow and required significant capital outlay. After evaluating options, Netrepid chose Zadara Storage’s on‑site Storage‑as‑a‑Service offering to keep storage in their own Tier‑3 data center while avoiding traditional CapEx constraints.

Zadara Storage deployed block and file storage to support Citrix XenDesktop, Exchange, SQL Server and VMware VMs, added SSD caching and snapshot services, and enabled rapid provisioning of storage nodes. The result: an 80% improvement in overall performance, an 81% reduction in hardware footprint (with corresponding power/cooling savings), much faster spin‑up times (minutes vs. a week), and plans to add remote mirroring, Backup to S3 and object storage from Zadara Storage.
