Make Television Limited, a cloud-based live video production company, needed a high-performance, secure way to ingest, store and globally distribute large 4K and HD event files for big‑screen productions. BASE Media Cloud built a high‑speed global file distribution hub around Zadara Storage, integrated with Signiant Media Shuttle and hosted on Vodafone, enabling secure uploads, 3‑way mirrored backups and access over standard business broadband. The team ingested over 1.5 TB of media in two days and could share full HD and 4K packages worldwide, accelerating production and post‑production while delivering significant cost savings — replacing a multi‑hundred‑thousand‑pound capital build with Zadara Storage’s pay‑per‑use model.
