Case Study: Impress Group eliminates I/O bottlenecks and gains scalable, high-performance VMware storage with Zadara Storage

Preview of the Impress Group Case Study

Impress Group Satisfies Growing VMware Requirements Using Zadara

Impress Group, a leading media group made up of a holding company and 12 operating companies, was constrained by servers with local disk and traditional NFS shared storage that could not scale, caused I/O bottlenecks for VMware VMs, lacked centralized management, and offered no per‑application bandwidth control. Working with partner CDC, the company selected Zadara Storage and deployed on‑premises Zadara Virtual Private Storage Arrays (VPSAs) to address these challenges.

Zadara Storage implemented VPSAs with SSD caching and iSER support plus a centralized management console, providing both block and file services, tunable performance per application, and full redundancy. The deployment eliminated I/O delays, dramatically reduced VM recovery times, improved overall performance and availability, aligned bandwidth with application needs, and delivered significant cost savings for Impress Group.
