BeBop Moves Media & Entertainment Content Production to the Cloud

BeBop Technology, a cloud-based post-production platform, needed to move graphic-intensive media workflows to the cloud while handling massive, rapidly changing storage demands from 4K, VR/AR and VFX files, variable on-location internet, and teams that scale to hundreds and petabytes. To meet those challenges, BeBop leveraged Zadara Storage’s enterprise storage-as-a-service to provide the secure, high-performance foundation for its virtual GPU workstations and cloud-based editing environment.

Zadara Storage delivered cloud-adjacent, pay-per-use storage located near AWS regions and connected via high-speed fiber, with dedicated physical resources, SSD/SATA/SAS options and Backup to Object Storage (B2OS) archiving so BeBop could provision, scale into the petabyte range (and support projects requiring ~400× typical HD storage) and scale down to zero. The result was streamlined workflows, improved data security, faster-than-planned delivery and higher-quality remote collaboration, while converting capital expense to OpEx and eliminating sunk storage costs.
