A YuLife Case Study
Capital One UK, a financial services provider with 1,500 associates, needed a more dynamic, digital way to support employee wellbeing as remote and hybrid working expanded during and after the pandemic. To replace a more traditional approach to life insurance and better engage a distributed workforce, the company partnered with YuLife and its group risk insurance offering plus the YuLife app.
YuLife delivered 24/7 virtual GP access, an Employee Assistance Programme, and gamified wellbeing challenges that encouraged step tracking and mindfulness. The results included a 60% app download rate among eligible associates, 34% monthly active users, more than £26,500 in YuCoin redeemed, over 150 trees planted, and 10,674 challenges completed in a charity campaign that helped Capital One UK donate £10,000 to Rethink Mental Illness. YuLife also achieved strong satisfaction scores, including a 5.9/7 CES, 8.5/10 NPS, and an NPS of 41, nine points above the life insurance industry average.
