Making Learning Possible Anywhere with the YuJa Enterprise Video Platform

Indiana State University, a public institution serving more than 14,000 students with 60 online programs, needed to modernize its distance‑learning toolset so librarians, instructors, and students could easily share and review course content and support student‑generated video assignments. To replace Tegrity by McGraw‑Hill, ISU selected YuJa and deployed its Enterprise Video Platform, including the YuJa CMS and lecture capture tools.

YuJa’s CMS and capture tools enabled instructors and students to create, share, and review video content, supported video assignments (especially for language courses), and allowed ISU to live‑stream a music educator conference to remote attendees. The platform drove rising adoption, cut roughly 90% of user errors/support requests (per Distance Learning Technology Specialist Nick Aballi), and produced measurable increases in engagement and online event participation, prompting plans for more live events using YuJa.
