Implementing a Scalable, Accessible and Affordable Enterprise Video Solution at Aiken Technical College

Aiken Technical College needed a more scalable, accessible and affordable enterprise video solution after its previous vendor became too costly as media needs grew. Facing a rapid shift online during the COVID-19 pandemic, the college selected YuJa and deployed the YuJa Enterprise Video Platform to replace its legacy lecture-capture system and add features like auto-captioning and Personal Capture.

YuJa integrated the platform with Aiken Technical College’s Blackboard LMS, enabling instructors to launch video tools directly from course shells, copy courses without extra steps, and use built-in editors and auto-generated, editable captions. The YuJa solution was deployed over the summer to accelerate the campus-wide move online, improved workflow efficiency, drew praise from instructors (including the Biology Department), and increased student engagement and participation through easier in-LMS video delivery.
