Deploying a Lecture Capture Solution at a Private Health Sciences College

Clarkson College, a private health sciences college in Omaha, needed a flexible, LMS-integrated solution for faculty to upload, store and deliver recorded lectures and media after migrating to a new LMS. To address inconsistent playback, time-consuming CTE uploads, and accessibility needs, the college selected YuJa and its Enterprise Video Platform—including Canvas-integrated video management, campus-wide lecture capture, on-the-fly recording and built-in editing and captioning.

YuJa’s platform was deployed campus-wide, enabling faculty to record and embed lectures directly in Canvas, auto-caption content, and edit without extra applications. Adoption and usage steadily increased—Clarkson now uses YuJa as its primary video repository with higher file uploads, more captioning minutes and expanded storage—support tickets declined, cross-platform playback improved, and the college could easily scale and upgrade with YuJa’s support, aiding a smooth transition to more online learning during the pandemic.
