Justuno, a cloud-native website visitor conversion optimization platform that helps more than 188k brands increase ecommerce revenue, faced database sprawl and performance problems—running Cassandra, Neo4j, Microsoft SQL Server and CockroachDB—and needed a cloud-native SQL solution that delivered always-on availability, single-digit read/write latency, easy on‑demand scaling, and low TCO. To meet those requirements, Justuno turned to YugabyteDB (including YugabyteDB Anywhere) to replace its disparate systems.

YugabyteDB deployed a 16‑node cluster across three Google Cloud availability zones and consolidated five database types into a single distributed SQL system, simplifying operations and enabling easy scaling. The YugabyteDB solution delivered measurable impact: ~20k SQL queries/sec, <3 ms reads, 3x fewer nodes versus their CockroachDB deployment, and dramatically reduced latency and operational overhead while supporting seasonal spikes across tens of thousands of tenants.
