Screwfix, the UK’s largest retailer of trade tools, materials and equipment, needed a way to bring its 1,000-plus-page trade catalog to mobile and tablet devices without sacrificing speed or usability. YUDU helped solve this challenge with a catalog app and browser solution, giving Screwfix a multi-channel catalog experience with fast performance, powerful search, bookmarking, and future-ready functionality.

YUDU’s Catalog App, PageTiler, and SmartCat tools enabled Screwfix to automatically link product SKUs to ecommerce pages and make the catalog easier to use and manage. The results were strong: the app reached 500,000 downloads on Apple’s App Store alone, around 1 in 10 regular Screwfix customers, and drove higher order values and larger basket sizes from app users. Based on this success, Screwfix expanded its partnership with YUDU to support German and Irish catalog editions.
