Future Managers, South Africa’s leading tertiary educational textbook publisher, needed a fast and secure way to convert hundreds of print textbooks into digital formats for tablets and desktop use, while leaving room for future interactive enhancements. The company also wanted a solution that would let it monetize its content effectively, and it turned to YUDU and its micro-bookstore app platform for help.

YUDU implemented a branded micro-bookstore with a simple upload, enhance, and publish workflow plus secure DRM protection. The result was a far more efficient publishing process than the previous ePub conversion method, strong end-user feedback on note-taking and highlighting features, and broad market adoption: every FET College in South Africa now offers at least some of Future Managers’ titles.
