Intility, a cloud-based hosting provider, needed to secure the master keys for its Microsoft Guarded Fabric to protect client virtual machines from theft or unauthorized access. Intility implemented the YubiHSM 2 hardware security module from Yubico to physically safeguard the Host Guardian Service encryption keys.
