Czech Radio secures dozens of employees with Yubico YubiKeys

Czech Radio, the public radio broadcaster for the Czech Republic, faced increasing cyber threats including ransomware and phishing aimed at disrupting its critical journalism. To protect sensitive accounts, they needed to move beyond weak authentication methods like SMS. They partnered with Yubico to deploy YubiKey hardware security keys.

The solution from Yubico provided phishing-resistant FIDO2 authentication via physical YubiKeys, distributed in part through Yubico's Secure it Forward program. The deployment significantly increased protection for editorial and IT teams, resulting in a higher level of security and a more streamlined user experience compared to legacy multi-factor methods.
