Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits faced the challenge of engaging employees across North America in volunteering and driving first‑time registrations on its VolunCheers Online platform. To run its second annual Holiday Giving Campaign, the company partnered with YourCause (YourCause + Blackbaud) and used the CSRconnect platform to mobilize employees and increase participation.

YourCause powered the solution with VolunCheers Online, combining incentive pledges ($25 per volunteer hour and $50 for new registrants), a nonprofit voting tool, CEO support, weekly communications, and local VolunCheers Ambassadors. The campaign generated 3,850 volunteer hours, more than 1,000 new users, $121,250 raised (about $40,417 each to Feeding America, the Humane Society and Operation Gratitude), and roughly 28% of the employee base registered on VolunCheers—demonstrating clear, measurable impact.
