Franklin Templeton Investments ran its global month of service, Impact Days, through its Involved employee volunteering program and, for the first time, deployed the YourCause platform—using the Involved portal and the Donations for Doers volunteer grant program. The company’s challenge was adoption and measurement: many employees were unfamiliar with the new sign-up process on YourCause, and reporting from the new platform didn’t align directly with metrics from the previous vendor.

Franklin Templeton used YourCause to promote projects, encourage project leaders to post events, and leverage the platform’s analytics and reporting while using Donations for Doers as an incentive. The campaign drove measurable results: 1,444 employees from 32 offices volunteered across 139 new projects, contributing 4,226 hours with 98 charity partners and collecting more than 15,800 food items in the World CAN competition—showing increases in projects, partners, and items versus the prior year.
