Finastra turned to YourCause when the COVID-19 pandemic pushed employees remote and corporate social responsibility participation dropped to about a third by April. Using Blackbaud’s YourCause CSRconnect™ platform, Finastra needed to re-engage a dispersed workforce and demonstrate leadership support for employee wellbeing while traditional CSR activities stalled.

Working with YourCause and internal CSR leaders, Finastra shifted to virtual volunteering and a wellness-focused program—mindfulness sessions, daily fitness classes, workshops, cooking nights and a tailored weekly newsletter—delivered via the YourCause CSRconnect™ platform. The results were measurable: a 25% increase in employee adoption of CSRconnect, $132,871 raised from employee giving, and 1,345 unique volunteers contributing over 10,200 volunteer hours, restoring engagement, productivity and wellbeing.
