The King Arthur Flour Company wanted to speed up its e-commerce site for better desktop and mobile shopping experiences, and turned to Yottaa instead of relying only on its in-house development team. The goal was to improve load times and conversion rates, especially on mobile devices, where a large share of traffic and sales already came from.
Yottaa cached about 80% of King Arthur Flour’s static content on its distributed servers, bringing content closer to shoppers while leaving dynamic pages like carts and checkout on the company’s own servers. In a four-week A/B test, Yottaa-delivered traffic produced an 8.8% higher conversion rate overall and a 15% higher conversion rate on tablets and smartphones, while pages loaded 20% faster and started loading 36% faster; those gains remained strong after full implementation.
