A Yorktel Case Study
Yorktel worked with an Idaho-based, not-for-profit Healthcare Company operating 14,000 employees across 294 facilities in the northwest U.S. After rapid growth through mergers and acquisitions, the health system was using disparate video platforms—Lync, Vidyo, and Polycom—for collaboration and Telehealth. This created inconsistent user experiences, limited interoperability, and made it difficult for clinicians and staff to collaborate efficiently, contributing to excessive travel and slower patient service.
Yorktel Professional Services conducted a comprehensive assessment, then delivered a four-step plan covering discovery, support/staffing, documentation and training, and UC/Telehealth integration strategy. Yorktel trained users and support teams on Lync, Polycom, and Vidyo, provided quick reference guides and recorded training, and recommended a roadmap to converge the platforms. As a result, the Healthcare Company improved productivity and collaboration, better aligned Telehealth with corporate IT, and created a path to expand revenue by reaching more patients through integrated Telehealth services.
