Danish Architecture Center launches Welcome Home exhibition in 2018 with Yoke

Danish Architecture Center (DAC) sought to create an engaging and interactive debut exhibition for its new space in Copenhagen to explore the concept of home and future living. They partnered with the vendor Yoke to develop an immersive experience that would allow visitors to actively envision and design their dream homes, moving beyond a traditional passive exhibition format.

Yoke designed, built, and programmed a series of interactive stations where visitors used custom card readers and physical controls to express their housing preferences. This input was linked to a personalized card, and at the final station, each visitor's home was dynamically integrated into a growing virtual city. The solution resulted in a highly engaging and personalized visitor journey, successfully encouraging public imagination about the future of urban living and providing each participant with a unique printed deed for their created home.
