METRO Slovakia, an omnichannel food retail and wholesale business operating across 5 pricing zones, 6 stores, and an e-shop, was struggling with increasingly complex multi-tier pricing across 21,000 active SKUs. Category managers were overloaded by Excel-based bulk pricing, price consistency was becoming harder to maintain across customer segments and channels, and a lack of a single source of pricing truth was hurting coordination and P&L performance. Yieldigo implemented everyday price management and bulk pricing to automate much of the pricing process, support what-if simulations, improve price consistency, and synchronize bulk pricing data. The solution enabled more informed pricing decisions, faster reactions to market and competitor changes, and better control over omnichannel pricing strategies. As a result, METRO cut manual pricing errors by 95%, reduced bulk-pricing workload by 55%, and maintained 2020 sales at 2019 levels despite losing the HoReCa market.
