Stansted Express, the direct rail service carrying over six million passengers a year between London Liverpool Street and Stansted Airport, wanted to make sure website visitors understood the benefits of booking and received the right information at every stage of the booking journey to drive more conversions.
Yieldify implemented a multi-touch, stage-targeted campaign strategy—testing USP, dynamic social proof, abandonment recovery and reassurance messages across funnel stages and devices—then optimized the number and order of touches. Visitors shown the optimal combination of four campaigns converted best (3.74% higher than control), performing up to 120% better than those shown just one campaign and 107.5% better than those shown three; individual tests also drove uplifts such as +11.08% on tablet (USP), +6.2% on mobile (advance-booking USP) and +3.2% on tablet (payment-page reassurance).
