Steward Health Care is a Boston‑headquartered, community-focused healthcare system with 3,500 physicians, 18 hospital campuses, and dozens of urgent care sites that struggled to connect patients with the right providers because of inconsistent, constantly changing physician and location information across the web. That mismatch was costing visibility and appointments — Steward needed a reliable way to manage hundreds of listings so patients could find the right doctor in critical moments.
Steward implemented the Yext Healthcare Knowledge Engine to centralize and sync provider and facility data across websites, apps, and the PowerListings® Network. Since launch Steward has put 150 practices (750+ doctors) and 18 campuses on Yext, grown to 60,000 live listings (a 500% increase), fixed tens of thousands of incorrect addresses/phones/URLs, and added 191,000+ Featured Messages — driving a 157% increase in Google clicks to the website, a 44% lift in doctor profile views, strong listings engagement (9.3–14.7%), more organic traffic and qualified appointment leads.
