OhioHealth partnered with Yext to solve a major challenge in managing accurate, up-to-date practitioner and event information across many online listings. The health system needed a better way to keep physician details consistent across locations and reduce duplicate or conflicting listings, while also making it easier to promote events online.
Yext implemented a custom API connected to OhioHealth’s credentialing system, updating physician information every 24 hours across about 4,600 listings and using duplicate suppression to cut errors. Yext also streamlined bulk event publishing across OhioHealth’s website, Facebook, and Eventbrite. The results included a 0% year-over-year increase in click-through rate, a 0% year-over-year increase in search views, and 800 event actions in 30 days, with more than 0K people reached through Facebook Event pages.
