Meineke, a global network of 900+ locally owned full‑service car repair shops, needed a better way to help customers find and engage with individual franchise locations as mobile and local search surged. With a strong focus on customer convenience and increasingly localized marketing, the company faced the challenge of keeping accurate, consistent digital information across many channels so customers could easily discover and interact with nearby shops.
Meineke implemented the Yext Knowledge Engine (Yext Listings) to centralize and syndicate store data across websites, apps, maps, search engines and social networks, while also managing local Facebook pages and review notifications for franchisees. In one year Meineke grew to over 45,000 live listings with a 64% increase in listings volume, corrected 38,000+ addresses and 34,000+ phone numbers, added 446,000+ photos, updated 407,000+ business descriptions, and created 17,000 listings that drove 23% incremental impressions — enabling more scalable, personalized local customer engagement.
