Cicis: Beyond Pizza is a family-friendly restaurant brand founded in 1985 with over 450 locations. During its 2015 rebrand the company discovered widespread inconsistencies in its digital knowledge—outdated website content, incorrect addresses, hours, and phone numbers—that were causing customer confusion and lost visits, especially as mobile search became dominant.
Cicis implemented the Yext Knowledge Engine (Pages and Listings) to centralize and publish accurate location data across search engines, maps, and apps. Since launching, Cicis has deployed over 20,000 listings (a 34% increase), corrected 14,000+ addresses and 60,000+ names, updated 82,000+ descriptions and 207,000+ images, and grown organic search and mobile traffic (now ~75%), reducing manual optimization time and driving more customers through the door.
