Ben & Jerry’s, the Vermont-based ice cream brand with 586 scoop shops worldwide, relies on its annual Free Cone Day to drive customer engagement. The company struggled to manage event-specific details like hours and addresses across many third-party platforms (Google, Facebook, Yelp, etc.), relying on a single Facebook event and time-consuming manual updates that pulled managers away from in-store operations.

By using Yext Listings and Yext for Events, Ben & Jerry’s centralized event publishing and created 200 events with 800 listings across eight publishers in about two hours—work that would have taken store managers more than 200 hours. The campaign generated roughly 6 million impressions and 128,000 “Interested/Going” engagements on Facebook, saved nearly 198+ store manager hours, and contributed to serving 1.3 million scoops on Free Cone Day.
