FreshBooks launches a Gmail add-on with Yeti LLC in 1 first version

FreshBooks, an invoicing and accounting solution for small businesses, needed to expand its ecosystem by creating a third-party integration using its external API. Their challenge, undertaken with vendor Yeti LLC, was to prototype and build a robust Gmail Add-on that would provide a seamless experience within the constraints of GSuite's visual elements.

Yeti LLC implemented the solution by taking an agile, iterative approach to develop a Gmail Add-on. This allowed users to generate FreshBooks invoices and view related information directly from their Gmail sidebar. The first version of the add-on was successfully launched to the marketplace, and the teams are now awaiting usage data and analytics to glean insights for future iterations.
