MAUDAU, an online marketplace, needed to draw more attention to its discounted products on its website beyond its standard "Promotions" section and email newsletters. To address this challenge, they worked with vendor Yespo and its customer data platform (CDP) to implement a targeted solution using widgets.

Yespo's solution was to create and deploy "floating box" informers on specific product category pages. These widgets promoted discounted items and were triggered by user behavior, such as spending 30 seconds on the site. The implementation led to significant results, including a 19% increase in transactions for promoted products in the "Alcohol" category. On average, Yespo's widgets increased MAUDAU's product views by 13%, cart additions by 13%, and transactions by 16%.
