Mohawk Moving & Storage, a Minnesota-based moving and storage company founded in 1938, needed a safer, more efficient way to handle move surveys as COVID-19 disrupted in-home appointments and customers became hesitant about onsite visits. The company also wanted a solution that would be easier for customers to use than FaceTime-based surveys or other manual processes, while still supporting accurate estimates and a better overall customer experience.

Mohawk implemented Yembo’s AI-powered virtual survey technology, using it alongside its existing internal survey tool to offer self-surveys and live Smart Consults without requiring an app download. With Yembo, survey time dropped by more than 50% from about 45 minutes to 10–15 minutes, actual weight variance improved from about 10% to 4–5%, and packing variance fell to about 5–7%. Mohawk also reported higher sales productivity, over 630 virtual surveys completed, and 99% positive customer feedback on the survey process.
