Yelp outperforms Google for Jersey Mike’s

Jersey Mike’s, a multi-location sandwich chain, needed to turn local searches into more in-store customers and evaluate which discovery channels actually drove purchases. Working with MomentFeed to manage listings and measure performance, the challenge was identifying the most effective platform for converting local intent into sales.

Using Yelp Enhanced Profiles and MomentFeed’s listings management, Jersey Mike’s achieved a 5x higher conversion rate on Yelp compared with Google (MomentFeed, Apr–Jun 2017). Yelp visitors proved highly purchase-ready—Nielsen found 92% of consumers make a purchase after visiting Yelp—resulting in more calls, directions and store visits for the brand.
