Greystar, a national leader in multifamily real estate, partnered with Yelp to manage its brand and, in 2015, sought a more effective way to reach local consumers actively searching for apartment rentals nearby. The challenge was converting local search interest into measurable visits, calls, and online inquiries.

By launching Yelp CPC (cost-per-click) ads in October 2015 to target nearby apartment seekers, Greystar drove significant engagement: customer leads rose 42% (including website listing clicks, mobile calls, and directions), website clicks increased 40%, and directions/map views grew 60%, with monthly engagement climbing from about 2,232 in October to 3,169 in April.
