A Yellowfin Case Study
TEARS Foundation, a South African non-profit supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse, needed a better way to capture and report detailed gender-based violence data. With a paper-based process and no effective digital analytics system, the organization struggled to keep records accurate, follow up consistently, and present reliable information to funders.
Yellowfin, working with MIP and AIGS, provided embedded BI dashboards within TEARS’ DAISY system to improve data capture, privacy-aware reporting, and operational follow-up. The solution helped TEARS move from paper to electronic workflows, capture a broader range of GBV data, and present clearer dashboards to stakeholders, with the added benefit of more consistent client follow-ups and stronger data-driven decision-making.
