MIP amplifies application value with Yellowfin embedded BI

MIP, an independent software vendor serving financial services and healthcare clients in South Africa, needed to replace legacy reporting that was limited, slow, and difficult to secure for regulated customers. Using Yellowfin embedded BI, MIP set out to deliver real-time, visually rich analytics inside its applications and mobile experiences without adding complexity or hurting performance.

Yellowfin was embedded into MIP’s web and mobile apps to power operational reports, dashboards, and contextual analytics with strong security and multi-tenancy. The results included near real-time reporting, better data literacy, and easier access to insights for managers and call center staff; by 2020, 25% of MIP’s customer base was using embedded analytics, the company had grown to 19 clients in its big data solution with 11 using Yellowfin, and its analytics team expanded to 18 people.
