Keio Department Store Goes Paperless to Digital Reporting with Yellowfin BI

Keio Department Store, a Japanese retail chain with 10 stores in the Tokyo area, needed to replace legacy paper-based reporting and manage roughly 800 different forms as it advanced its digital transformation. The company chose Yellowfin BI to make reports easier to access for 800 employees, even with varying levels of IT literacy, while also supporting no-code/low-code development and role-based access controls.

Yellowfin enabled Keio Department Store to consolidate about 400 forms at go-live and later migrate more than 400 stylized reports, ultimately making over 800 reports available through a browser-based, highly customizable analytics environment. With Yellowfin, employees can quickly view daily sales, trends, customer segments, and year-over-year comparisons, helping shift the organization toward a data-driven mindset and giving staff more contextual, easy-to-understand insights.
