Case Study: DENSO achieves enterprise-wide analytics adoption by 14,000 users with Yellowfin

A Yellowfin Case Study

Preview of the Denso Case Study

DENSO transforms data utilization platform, broadens analytics adoption to 14,000 users with Yellowfin

DENSO, a global automotive parts manufacturer, faced an ageing core operations system, thousands of legacy programs (around 7,600), and manual, once-a-day data processes that left business users reliant on Excel and IT to prepare reports. Seeking a better analytics platform, DENSO selected Yellowfin to simplify access to data and broaden analytics adoption across the company.

DENSO implemented Yellowfin with targeted surveys, regular training and consulting (with partner NTT‑TX), shifting users from manual workflows to self-service analytics. Yellowfin adoption grew from an initial ~1,700 users to an average of about 6,000 and a peak of 14,000 active users; dashboards now deliver instant survey results (vs. ~2 months previously), connect overseas data for improved inventory and logistics decisions, and use role-based security for sensitive information. Yellowfin’s deployment reduced manual reporting, sped operational responses, and enabled broader analytics-driven decision making across DENSO.
